Update on the 100 good wishes quilt

As of today (9/27/2007), I have 72 wishes and fabrics in. (It's not too late to join in...hint...hint!)

Here's how it's coming so far -- I broke down and laid some of them out to see how they would look with the pink and white sashing that will separate the squares. I like how it's coming together (and thanks, Sue, for the Denver Bronco's fabric -- I questioned how orange was going to fit, but it works out fine!)

If you've contributed and don't see your fabric in the bit I laid out to the left, not to worry -- the quilt has a long way to go to completion! The finished quilt will fit a twin sized bed

It's been so great opening the mail and seeing what people have sent -- each piece of fabric has special meaning. The U.S. flag fabric in the picture above, for example, is from my longest time friend (note I didn't say "oldest"!), whose husband served two duties in Iraq. I could go on and on about each person and fabric, and I thank everyone for contributing!

I'll keep you posted as I keep making progress!

The last picture is of the scrapbook which is starting to get filled up with wonderful wishes!
